OTRV3m works best with Leadbox, and requires the Display Widgets and the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugins. The Display Widgets Plugin adds options to each of your widgets. It allows you to control whether to display or hide widgets from certain pages. The Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin allows you to display the latest posts on the sidebar when reading an individual blog post.
We have also recommend using the Genesis Simple Edits plugin (optional but not required) to easily edit footer links. If you do not have any preferred social media plugins, we will install our own Social Media plugin on your site at no extra cost. We have made it more user friendly and it has slight variations in font and functionality.
Do you like to use different colors? Most background colors can easily be modified on each template, making it easy for you to mix and match colors for each page!

The Archive Template
The Archive Template is built into WordPress and is rarely used. It shows all Pages, Categories, Authors, Monthly post archive, and a list of Recent Posts.
The Default Template is used on this page. It is a 2-column template.
The Blog Template
The blog template is an optional template, built into WordPress. It displays posts. The number of posts displayed per page is controlled in WordPress>Settings>Reading Settings.
The Checkout Page Template
To use this template: leave the text editor empty. Simply fill in the custom metaboxes below the text editor. (See Example below)
The Full-Width No Sidebar Template
This template has a gray background and is not for normal use. An example of a use for this page is a comparison chart page, where all the table details are entered into the Text Editor.
The Full Width White No Sidebar Template
This template can be used for anything you like. Unlike the Full-Width No Sidebar Template, this one has a white content area.
The Membership Template
The Membership Template is a sales page template.
This template has 3 PARTS to it.
PART 1: The Top Content
These are custom metaboxes located below the Text Editor (see screenshot)
You can place whatever Text or Video you’d like, here.
You can edit this background color by selecting one of the 16 preset colors, OR enter a custom Hex color value.
You can also insert a background picture by entering the URL of the picture. The background image must have a 16:9 ratio.
PART 2: The Text Editor
This is the default text editor.
Whatever content you place here, will display below the Top Content section. You can place your sales copy here. Remember to add h3 tags for your sales copy headline / subheadlines
Part 3: The Price and the Checkout Button
This is also a custom metabox, located below the Top Content metabox.
You can customize the button title, button color, the text for the price, the background color for the entire floating bar, and you can insert the url of the checkout button. Select a preset color, or enter a custom Hex color value.
The Primary Products Page Template
This template uses special Widgets. This is your PARENT products page (the top of the products “tree”). This page is usually used for your product categories. This template has 3 PARTS.
PART 1: The Parent Page
To use this template, simply create a page using this template and leave the text editor blank. The Title of this page will display as a headline.
PART 2: The Product Widgets For the Primary Products Page
A widget section called “Primary Products Or Services” was created for this template.
Each of the product boxes uses a custom widget called “Product Widget”. We recommend using up to FOUR or FIVE Product Widgets.
For each product box displayed on this Primary Products Page Template, you can specify the following:
1. The title of the box
2. The page where the box links to. You can choose from existing pages, or manually enter a url (useful if you are linking to an external site), and you can also specify if you want the link to open in a new window.
3. The color of the box. You can choose from the presets, or enter your own Hex color value.
4. The icon. Simply enter the name of the FontAwesome icon in the icon field. The list of available FontAwesome icons are found here: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/. If you need help with the icons, please feel free to contact support and our friendly developers will be happy to assist you.
5. The description. This is entirely optional.
PART 3: The Links below the boxes
Another Widget Area has been created for all the links we’d like to call “Quick Links” on the products page.
Simply insert a Text widget with your desired title, and list the hyperlinks.
The Products Page Template
This template is for ALL of your products child pages. You can create a very large products tree with this template. As with the Primary Product Page Template, this requires the creation of a child page, and the use of Product widgets. The Quick Links displayed on this template are the same text widgets that you have created for the Primary Products Page Template.
A special widget area was created for this template, called Child Products Or Services. Use the Product Widget widget for each box. We recommend using up to FOUR or FIVE Product Widgets per child product page.
Just remember, the Primary Products Page and the Products Page templates are used to create a product “tree”. Depending on how many “roots” your tree has, each child product page can become the parent page of yet another child product page. Simply configure the Display Widgets plugin to specify which set of boxes display on which child product page. We recommend using “Show on checked pages”, so that you only have to check 1 page.
The Product Post Template
This is a 2 column sales page template. Although it has a sidebar, no widgets are required for this template.
All sidebar items are specified on the sales page itself.
This template has 5 PARTS to it.
PART 1: The Background Color of the Sales Page Title
The default color of the title background is orange. You can change this color by choosing one of the preset colors, or specifying your own Hex color value into the metabox located at the top right corner of the editor.
PART 2: The Sales Copy
The sales copy goes into the default text editor.
PART 3: Testimonials
This is an optional sidebar, usually reserved for testimonials for the product that you’re selling.
The testimonials text is inserted into the Testimonials meta box, located right below the text editor.
PART 4: The Sidebar Links
The sidebar links are for displaying links to related products.
Just insert the links into the Sidebar Links meta box, located below the Testimonials meta box, enclosed within “li” HTML tags.
If you want to highlight a specific link, simply add the “highlight” class, as shown in the example below. The color of the highlighted box, will automatically be the same as the color of your title background.
PART 5: The Order buttons.
Below the Sidebar Links section, is the Order Details metabox.
If you want to insert a red Order button next to the Title, simply insert the checkout url into the Order Checkout URL field. Leave this blank if you don’t want a red Order button to appear next to the title.
The Recommended Page Template
This is yet another sales page template. We use this page template for products or services offered by a third-party. This requires the use of ONE category for all your recommended products. This template has 3 PARTS to it.
PART 1: The Headline and The Background Picture OR Background Color
Below the default text editor, is the Top Content Editor.
Enter the headline there.
If you want to have a background picture, insert the URL of the picture into the background URL field.
If you prefer to have a plain background color, choose one of the preset colors in the Background Color dropdown menu, or enter your own Hex Color Value into the Hex Color field.
PART 2: Your Optional Sales Copy / Introduction
If there is some text you’d like to place below the headline and it’s background color / picture, simply insert your text into the default text editor.
PART 3: Display thumbnails of recommended products
In order to display thumbnails of recommended products with a “Check Review” button on it, all of the recommended products must be filed under a specific category. Simply specify this category name in the box on the top right of the text editor. Every post filed under this category will display on this page.
This is NOT a page template, this is a POST template. But WordPress doesn’t allow us to choose a template for a POST?! Yes, we know that. That is why this template will be used AUTOMATICALLY if you file a post under the category name you specified on the Recommended Page. 🙂
This template has 2 PARTS.
PART 1: The Content
Simply create a new post, filed it under the category specified in the Recommended Page, and specify a featured image.
PART 2: The Sidebar
This template automatically comes with a sidebar..
A special widget area has been created for this, and you can place anything you like on the text widget.
If you want to use a blue background for the sidebar, simply enclose the text within the widget within the div class=”instruction” HTML tags.
If you want to use a slightly lighter blue background on the sidebar, simply enclose the text within the div class=”instruction notes” HTML tags.
This is an optional splash screen.
This splash screen can significantly increase traffic to any pages you link to on the Splash screen.
To edit the Splash screen, just go to Genesis>Theme Settings and look for this box:
This editor allows you to easily change the colors, text and hyperlinks on the Splash screen.
The homepage, by default, displays your latest posts.
The homepage also automatically displays the first set of Product boxes you have set up on your products tree. (See section: The Primary Products Page Template).
By default, the homepage also loads widgets you have added in the Primary Sidebar widget area.
The Latest Posts Widget
We have used the Genesis Featured Widget Amplifed Plugin to display the Latest Posts on the Primary Sidebar. The recommended size for the thumbnail image is 130 x 75, as shown in the screenshot below.
As you can see from the homepage, we have decided to hide the Latest Posts from the homepage. This is done using the Display Widgets plugin. To do this, you just need to configure the widget to Hide on Selected Pages, and check the Front Page.
We have also used the same plugin to display posts in the Popular Posts section that you can see when reading a blog post:
This section is used to recommend any post you wish your readers to check out. A special widget area has been created for this: Smart Posts.
To select which posts to appear, enter the post IDs into the Post ID box, and make sure you select “Include” in the dropdown just above it and select the thumbnail size as 300×200, as shown in the screenshot below.
The Author Box Widget
This is not a plugin. This is a widget that comes with the theme. In this demo site, we have added the Author box to the Primary Sidebar.
To configure this widget, simply enter the text that will appear on top of the picture. You can hyperlink this picture to an existing page on your website (such as your about page). To select an author picture, simply enter the URL of the image. You can also choose to add a short description of the author, as shown in the screenshot below.
